Bina Marga Repairs Four Damaged Sidewalks in Pancoran

The Pancoran Sub-district Bina Marga Unit repaired four sidewalks as a result of field monitoring.

Those repaired sidewalks are public places which are crowded by pedestrians

Pancoran Sub-district Bina Marga Unit Head Dandy stated that the repair was carried out in front of the Kalibata Station, Jalan Warung Buncit, across South Jakarta Immigration Office, and at Warung Jati Bus Stop.

"Those repaired sidewalks are public places which are crowded by pedestrians. The surface is already bumpy so it is not comfortable for pedestrians," he said, Wednesday (3/23).

His side dismantled the damaged concrete blocks and replaced them with castings. After drying, personnel made patterns on the sidewalk using colorful paints.

Similar repair would be carried out on damaged sidewalks along major roads and public areas to facilitate pedestrians in using the sidewalks.

"We hope residents can participate in maintaining the condition of the repaired sidewalk," he conveyed.
